1. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Existence has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
(CSAE). This includes, without limitation, child sexual abuse material
(CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation involving a minor, trafficking,
or any attempt to use the service to exploit, endanger, or sexualize a
child. Any such behavior is prohibited whether it appears in profile
content, images, videos, hangout posts, usernames, direct messages, or
off-platform coordination that originates through Existence.
2. Adults-Only Service
Existence is not designed for children or teens. Users must be at
least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. If we
learn or reasonably suspect that a user is under 18, we may restrict,
suspend, or permanently remove the account and related content while
we review the situation.
3. How to Report
If you encounter suspected underage users, grooming, exploitative
behavior, or any content that appears to involve child sexual abuse or
exploitation, please report it immediately.
- Use the app's built-in reporting tools for profiles, posts, or conversations.
- Email support@types.social with relevant details or screenshots.
- If there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact local emergency services first.
A dedicated "underage" report button is not required to make a report.
Any general safety report submitted through the app or by email may be
used to flag suspected minors, grooming, or exploitative conduct.
4. Review and Enforcement
We review safety reports and may take action including removing
content, limiting visibility, freezing features, disabling messaging,
suspending accounts, or permanently banning users. We may also
preserve relevant account information and records to support safety
review, legal compliance, and investigations.
5. Reporting to Authorities
Where required by law, or where we determine it is appropriate to
protect children or investigate apparent CSAE, we may report content,
account information, and related records to the National Center for
Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or other
relevant authorities.
